Stamp Club!

Hi stampers,

Well here it is….a few days late but here at last! This is a sample of what I’m doing at my first stamp club meeting due to start this sat 1st August. Each month you will learn a new technique and then you will get to make your own free samples. For this particular card I’ve sponged over a piece of glossy card in regal rose and then stamped the flowers from Fifth Avenue Floral in versamark ink. Then I embossed it with a layer of heat and stick followed by dazzling diamonds. Then I’ve mounted it onto a piece of kiwi kiss dsp and used pink pirourette for the base. Then a bit of kiwi ribbon and a pink rhinestone and voila it’s done!

This card is BEAUTIFULLY SPECTACULAR!!!! I love, love, love my local stamp club. Wish you were here, LOL. I really don’t need to be buying the stuff as I barely ever have time to use it, but I keep thinking, “Some day…..” LOL! Anyway….it’s my once a month “thing” ya know? Like my girls night out. :0) Luv ya girlie! Ya need to update this blog!

Can’t have a workshop…

There are 3 kinds of SU demonstrators: 1. The hobbyist - those who just want the discount on their own purchases. 2. The self-funded hobbyist - those who sell products to friends and family to fund all of their own purchases. 3. The business builder - those who want to do some workshops and earn some extra cash. So no matter which category you fit into Stampin' Up! wants you! And amazing as it may sound they actually care about each one of their demontrators in exactly the same way regardless of their earnings! This was proven to me at the 2009 SU convention when Shelli Gardner - CEO of SU stood on stage and cried (in front of 450+ demonstrators!) while expressing to us this very fact! (Well I'm pretty sure that part wasn't on the teleprompter anyway...)
